The Perpetuity Wing is an area of the Lumon Industries Branch 501 Severed floor. It serves as a museum to Lumon Industries and the Eagan family. The Perpetuity Wing has three exhibits.
At least two other Lumon facilities are known to include Perpetuity Wings on their Severed Floors, including Branch 5X and an unnamed location outside the USA.
Exhibits[]
Hall of Eagans[]
The first exhibit is a hall of current and former Lumon CEOs, containing their animatronic likenesses. The statue of Jame Eagan, the current Lumon CEO, is displayed in its own room at the very entrance of the Perpetuity Wing, whereas a descending staircase leads to a room containing the animatronics of the former CEOs. There is a total of 8 Lumon CEOs:
- Kier Eagan (1841-1939), CEO from 1865-1939
- Ambrose Eagan (unknown), CEO from 1939-1941
- Myrtle Eagan (1886-1960), CEO from 1941-1959
- Baird Eagan (1902-1976), CEO from 1959-1976
- Gerhardt Eagan (1920-1991), CEO from 1976-1987
- Phillip "Pip" Eagan (1937-1999), CEO from 1987-1999
- Leonora Eagan (1955-2003), CEO from 1999-2003
- Jame Eagan (unknown), CEO from 2003-present
Lumon Legacy of Joy[]
The second exhibit is called the Lumon Legacy of Joy according to the signage shown in the background. It is a hallway with a mounted display panel (which Dylan colloquially refers to as "the mouth wall") that shows dozens of photos of cropped smiles. Irving states that these are the real smiles of people on the outside whom Lumon has helped, and that the photos are regularly rotated to show new smiles.
Kier Eagan Replica House[]
The third exhibit is the Kier Eagan Replica House. It is a perfect replica of Lumon founder Kier Eagan's home, and serves as the focal point of the Perpetuity Wing. It is expressly forbidden to lie in Kier Eagan's bed; there is both a plaque on the bed stating this, as well as a small metal barrier surrounding the bed. Among other items in the bedroom, there is a bust of Kier Eagan on a table, a pair of his slippers, his shaving supplies, and his mortar and pestle[1]. The Kier Eagan Replica House is also the location in which the Waffle Party perk takes place.
Other Branches[]
Dario Rossi, a Macrodata Refiner from an unidentified "overseas" branch, mentions that his branch was poor and the Perpetuity Wing there had only brooms with plates affixed to the handles to represent the Eagan CEOs. Gwendolyn Y. (formerly of Branch 5X) claimed that her original branch's Perpetuity Wing had animatronic versions of the Eagan statues.
