Lorne is the head of the Mammalians Nurturable department at Lumon Industries.
History[]
When Lorne saw Mark and Helly come into the goat room, she confronted them and asked if they were there to kill her. They told her they weren't and showed her a picture of Ms. Casey, saying they were trying to find her. Lorne denied making use of the Wellness department and rang a bell, summoning the other employees, who surrounded Mark and Helly. When Helly held up the poster and explained that they were looking for her, Lorne said they decided they were going to send a courier to tell Milchick what they were doing. Mark said they might kill Ms. Casey if they found out and he worried about it happening to others if they stood by and let it happen to Ms. Casey. The goat wranglers decided to let them go without intervening after they showed they didn't have pouches on their bellies.[1]
On the day Mark was set to complete the Cold Harbor file, Lorne was ordered to bring a goat to be sacrificed. She chose a goat and brought it to Drummond, who gave her a captive bolt pistol and told her she'd have to sacrifice as many goats as Kier called when she questioned him. Before she could kill the goat, they were interrupted by a banging noise. It was Mark Scout trying to get to the testing floor. A struggle ensued and Lorne saved Mark by putting the pistol to Drummond's head. She was prepared to kill him, but Mark stopped her and she took the goat with her while Mark took Drummond with him. She told Mark that the goat, Emile, thanked him.[2]
